The 13th Annual Icelandic Invitational
Women’s ‘Over 30’ Adult Event

The Icelandic Invitational is a tournament for Women’s ‘Over 30’ teams playing at the intermediate or bronze level. Teams travel from the USA, Canada and sometimes mainland Europe to play against Icelandic competition.

The tournament is held at the Egilsholl ice arena, located in Iceland’s capital city of Reykjavik and home of Bjorninn Ice Hockey Club. Participants have the opportunity to practice, play four tournament games, and attend an awards dinner and social event at the rink. Team members stay in central Reykjavik — close to restaurants, shopping and many local attractions.

While there, participants have the opportunity to experience some of Iceland’s cultural, scenic and historical treasures. The itinerary includes a guided walking tour of Reykjavik, a swim in a traditional Icelandic geothermal bath, and select from a number of optional sightseeing excursions including the unforgettable “Golden Circle” tour featuring Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Waterfall and Strokkur Geysir geothermal area; glacier walking, horse-riding and the Blue Lagoon.

Teams can fly in for the tournament, or extend their stay on the front end or back end of the trip.

The 2nd Annual Dragon Cup – České Budějovice, Czech Republic
Women’s Over-30 Tournament

The Dragon Cup is a Women’s Over-30 tournament held at the Pouzar Hockey Center, in Ceske Budejovice in the Czech Republic .  Participants spend 2 days in Prague and 3 days in Ceske Budejovice at the Dragon Cup tournament.

Ceske Budejovice is the home of the Budweiser Budvar Brewery, the home of the original Budwesier beer. American Budwesier is brewed as an imitation of the famous Bohemian original. The central city hosts the vast and beautiful Námesti Otakar Square and is the site of stately Renaissance, Gothic and Baroque buildings.

While in Prague, participants have the opportunity to experience some of Prague’s cultural and historical treasures. The itinerary includes a guided walking tour of Prague, including Prague Castle, the Astronomical Clock, the Charles Bridge and Lennon Wall.

Teams have the opportunity to play a minimum of three tournament games, attend a farewell reception, visit the amazing Cesky Krumlov and also visit the Budwesier Budvar Brewery.

A five night itinerary is offered, although teams can extend their stay on the front or back end of the trip. All tours can be customized to meet team needs.
